As we close out 2025, I have been reflecting on the wellness habits that stuck this year. Wellness wins that were not part of an empty resolution, but those that have been integrated into my life. What Wellness Wins I’m Bringing Forward from 2025

Internal Health Over Aesthetic Goals

I spent most of 2025 focusing less on what my body looked like and more on how it felt. That meant prioritizing gut health, paying attention to inflammation, and actually listening when my body was telling me something was off. No more pushing through when I needed rest, no more ignoring signs that something needed attention.

This focus shifted my relationship with wellness, because it is not about fitting a look or following a trend. It is about feeling strong, energized, and balanced from the inside out.

What I use to focus on my internal health:

  • Happy Aging – NAD+ Women’s Longevity & Beauty Protocol
  • Pique Life – Radiant skin teas and beverages to help my skin from the inside
  • Super Power – Blood testing for biomarker tracking of internal health

Deepening My Faith Through Bible Study

This year, I committed to focus more on bible study and prayer, and it has completely shifted my perspective on everything. Some days it’s a devotional with journaling, other days it’s just reading a few verses and sitting with them throughout the day. But showing up consistently for this time with God has grounded me, given me peace in the chaos, and reminded me that my worth isn’t tied to my productivity or what I accomplish. It’s about who I am in Christ. This practice has become non-negotiable for me, and it sets the tone for everything else.

Expanding My Pilates Practice

As an instructor, it’s easy to get comfortable teaching. But 2025 was the year I challenged myself to keep learning. I attended workshops and retreats, explored different Pilates methods, and practiced movements that challenged me. It reignited my passion for what I do and gave me so many new ideas for my classes. The learning never stops, and I love that about Pilates.

Prioritizing Rest

Rest isn’t lazy, it’s strategic. I know rest days are just as important as workouts; without recovery, you can’t improve. This means getting at least 7 hours of quality sleep, taking a break from teaching and training, and giving myself permission to do nothing without feeling guilty. I needed to break the habit of always feeling like I had to do something and started leaning into rest. I come back better for it, and that is a wellness win.

I also traveled more. Focusing on truly taking time off and exploring the world. The rest from life’s pressures and from seeing something beautiful really reset my soul.

A Real Skincare Routine

I finally got my skincare routine together in 2025! My skin has never looked better, and it’s not just about the products I used. I got with a dermatologist with a consistent schedule and got a plan for my care. With my acne diagnosis, I used my HSA to stock healthy foods to heal it from the inside out, along with supplements that support my skincare.

Then I started getting monthly facials with an aesthetician, who recommended products for my skin. Finally, in my travels, I prioritized aesthetic treatments that were more affordable in places like South Korea. Once I found what worked for me, I prioritized a morning and evening skincare routine. I bring the same discipline to my skincare routine as I do to fitness. Even when I am tired, I make sure my skincare is taken care of.

Meaningful Social Connections

I spent less time scrolling and more time actually connecting with people who matter: fewer surface-level interactions, more deep conversations. Putting my energy into the people who have truly invested in getting to know me as a person, and placing boundaries on how much I can give.

I stopped trying to be everywhere and started attending the social activities that brought me joy and filled my cup. Going to things on my own to meet people I would never meet without the security blanket of someone with me. It opened me up to meet new people and experience new things.

Wellness Wins I’m Adding in 2026

Mobility Work

I am adding more dedicated mobility days. I am doing well with integrating Pilates and strength training into my routine, but would love more flexibility. This includes deep stretching, foam rolling, and movement prep that keep my body feeling good over the long term.

Reading for Pleasure

I do a lot of reading for business and self-improvement, but I want to focus on reading for joy. More fiction and non-fiction books to learn something new without feeling the need to apply it to my life. Unplugging and letting my mind explore is a wellness win I need in 2026.

Pilates Reformer Certification

I am the type of person who needs to master one skill before moving on to another. I’ve been teaching mat Pilates for a while now, but I’m ready to expand my skill set and offer my clients even more variety and challenge. I’m getting certified on the Reformer this year. The Reformer opens up so many possibilities for deeper work, and I’m excited to dive into this next level of my Pilates education.

Biohacking My Way to Optimal Health

As I get older, I am delving deeper into biohacking to help me age gracefully. That means tracking my sleep quality, experimenting with cold plunges, more red light therapy, dialing in my nutrition, and regular specialized check-ups. I want data-driven insights into what makes my body perform at its best.

Solo Exploration & Trying New Things Alone

I’m committing to doing new things on my own, and not waiting for someone to join me. If I am interested in something, I am not waiting for confirmation from friends or loved ones; I am just going to go. There’s something powerful about showing up for yourself and being comfortable in your own company as you explore new interests.

Wellness isn’t a destination; it is an ongoing practice of tuning in, adjusting, and showing up for yourself in ways that matter. What may have worked last year might need adjusting, and that is okay. This isn’t about resolutions; it is about consistent habits to build a lifestyle of continuous wellness wins.
