The 5 best streaming workout platforms you need to know about

Share Article

Sometimes in-person workouts might not be your thing, but it doesn’t mean you can’t feel the same energy from the in-person classes at home. In fact, with the pandemic, streaming workout platforms at home have become more popular than ever. If you love the convenience of getting the same live workout at home or want the workout option conveniently anywhere, here are the five best streaming workout platforms you need to know about.

This post contains affiliate links in which I may receive a commission if you decide to purchase. These are selected by me and are my personal recommendations.

Obe Fitness

Obe fitness is one streaming workout platform I use regularly, and I find it very engaging. For one, they have a variety of fitness classes for every level. Some classes are as short as 5 minutes for a quick midday meditation for self-care or curated programs to challenge yourself. They offer live and replay classes so that you can catch your favorite teacher on the go. They even have partnerships with celebrities and other brands to keep things interesting. You can try the platform for a free trial and 50% off your first month with this link or use the code HEATHER50.

AARMY

I was introduced to AARMY at my home studio after taking a pop-up class with celebrity fitness instructor Akin Akman. I heard the classes were intense and a great challenge but in person, I was blown away by the level of support and how hard I pushed myself. I headed to their Instagram and was inspired by the participants of all levels pushing themselves to their best.

In addition, if you happen to be in the area they have two studios, one in Los Angeles home site of their other celebrity instructor Angela Manuel-Davis and New York. Their streaming workout is available for cycling, stretch, and BootCamp. Check out their free trial here and join their free boot camps every first Friday of the month.

Peloton

Peloton was the pioneer for at-home streaming workouts but with added equipment so you feel like you are right there in the class. People love peloton (just look up the endless groups to prove it!), and I like that it expanded to running, boot camp, and yoga workouts. If you get motivated by others’ progress, you are able to see the rank of everyone in the class for an added competitive edge. Peloton is more of an investment because first, you have to buy the equipment then you purchase the monthly membership, but it’s worth it! You can pay monthly for both programs and learn more here.

Alo Moves

If you are a fan of trendy alo athleisure clothing, you will love their workout streaming platform alo moves. Upon heading to their website, they give you a quiz to fit the class recommendations to your interests. You can try them for 14-days free or purchase the gift set for yourself or a friend on sale right now through Nordstrom at 50% off at $99.

Fabletics FIT

Finally, another popular workout and athleisure clothing brand is inspiring its customers with its curated streaming workouts on its own platform. Fabletics Fit offers a variety of classes and self-guided workouts for all levels. I love that they offer incentives for completing challenges in the form of discounts and points. My favorite part is, it’s included with your VIP membership so after you get your new workout set open up the app and try a great workout. If you are not a member, the app membership is 14.99/month.
